Minnesnowta

We just returned from a very quick trip to Minnesnowta...and yes, it snowed while we were there - made the weekend rather "romantic" and COLD! Of course, we came unprepared with spring clothes in tow but we had a ball. The trip to introduce Hampton to his great-Mommoms and Pretty Aunt Collin (HH's Great Aunt) turned into quite a party! Billy and Tina made it from Ohio (traveling via his monster truck!). Collin, Greg and Abby made it from Colorado. And, most of the Shaughnessys, Enzlers and Hansons joined in the fun! Between Mommoms, PAC and Bob, they rolled out the red carpet. Lots of food, a blazing bonfire and plenty of laughter made it a perfect weekend.

Crawling Machine!

Hampton has broken free! He is now officially crawling here, there and everywhere. And, trying to pull himself up on anything and everything. His eagerness to crawl was quite evident on our vacation last month. He'd wiggle to and from one spot to the other by either rolling or army crawling. But, now that he's got the hang of crawling, there is no stopping him.

He will also sit and wave, which makes my heart melt every time. It is so fun to see how much more responsive and curious he is to the world around him.

Hawaii!

The second part of our trip was to Oahu, HI for Becky and Samir's wedding. Needless to say, it was amazing. We've posted a number of pictures since pictures are worth (at least) a thousand words. But, to highlight - Becky and Samir hosted an incredible wedding week. The Bogle and Arora families know how to embrace every moment. Between breakfasts each morning and events each evening, including a sake tasting (yummm...a new favorite), we truly loved spending the time with our friends and meeting the number of wonderful people from all over the world. Becky and Samir were absolutely glowing - it was an honor to celebrate their marriage with them. Congrats Becky and Samir! We wish you all the best.

Trip to Colorado

Recently we took, probably the most ideal vacation we could think of - a trip to Colorado to visit Collin (Marin's sister), Greg and Abby and do some skiing, followed by 5 days in Oahu, Hawaii for our friend Becky and Samir's wedding.

Grandpa Knight joined us for the Colorado leg of the trip and we all rented a great condo in Breckenridge. Over the four days we were in Breckenridge, everyone got to ski and the guys got to take a daytrip to Vail. The skiing was fantastic as we got snow just about every night.
