Mommy's First Business Trip

I had my first business trip this week...and we all survived, including my special mommy's backpack full of Hampton's "meals". I was definitely sad when I knew the time would come where I'd have to hop back on a plane. But, the time arrived and we made certain mommy, daddy, Hampton and Deacon were all sorted for my three day trip. I wasn't too far away - a quick shuttle flight to NYC. The days and nights were packed with business meetings so I didn't have much time to feel lonely. Daddy spoiled me with sending pictures of Hampton. It made my heart melt. And, returning home was awesome - I think I set a record getting Hampton from Day Care.

Hampton and Deacon

We plopped Hampton on the bed and Deacon decided to join him for some play time. They were both willing to pose for one picture only.

I think Deacon just finished licking Hampton in exchange for his ear.

Stowe Weekend

Last weekend we went with the Reilly's (Alexis, Billy, Will and Jackson) up to Stowe for a ski weekend. They got a ton of snow the week prior so the skiing was incredible. The dogs (Deacon and Jackson) had a blast hopping through the snow that was probably 4' deep in the front yard of the home we rented for the weekend. We also got to hit the Matterhorn bar with the kids after skiing on Saturday. We got a great table, some beers, good food and had a blast. I think that Will and Hampton enjoyed their first "bar experience". It's pretty cool to think that Will and Hampton could be skiing together and going to the Matterhorn together for many years to come!

It was very hard to get Deacon to come inside.

Hampton at Day Care

I think I need to enroll in Day Care - look at how much FUN Hampton has while he's away from home. He celebrated the Chinese New Year! And, he's learning to Paint (our little Picasso!). Enjoy the pictures...
