And he's off....

Last night, Hampton stood and clapped and then walked and clapped some more! While his few steps here and there over the past few weeks have been teasers, last night was the real deal...and Hampton was quite impressed with himself! Mom and Dad were especially proud of his big steps too. Of course, our video camera broke (just about one day after the warrantee expired) so we'll have to get it captured on film sooner than later!

Hampton's First Birthday!

On July 26, 2008 we celebrated Hampton's first birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Knight's house on the Cape. Grandpa Bill and Gigi made the trip up north to celebrate and we all had a great time out at the pool celebrating Hawaiin style.

On June 28, 2008 Lauren and Frank were married. The wedding weekend was full of wonderful events to wish the beautiful couple well as they embark on life's journey together. Friday started with a Bridesmaid Luncheon for the ladies and golf / pool for the men. Friday night was the rehearsal followed by researsal dinner at The Paddock Restaurant. Saturday was gorgeous - while originally the forecast called for showers, the day brought sunshine just for Lauren and Frank on their wedding day. Pictures can only describe how beautiful the day came together. We now officially welcome "Uncle Frank" to the family. Enjoy St. Lucia, Lauren and Frank!

Happy Dada's Day!

Eric's first father's day was soggy...but a blast! We had a wonderful addition to our "family" for the weekend. Collin came to town! And, the Smith family also joined us for a Sunday at the Knight's home on the Cape. The day included golf for the Daddy's - Ron, Eric and Brian - and later a seafood dinner. Since Hampton's favorite word to say is dadadadadadada...it made the day extra special.

This is Jacquie's third session with Hampton and we think she is great! We've had a session every three months since last July (or thereabouts) and have one last session scheduled around his birthday to have a complete album capturing Hampton's first year.
